Digg has been a wonderful discovery for me as it has increased the amount of viewers i get on my blog by about a factor of ten. But I started noticing a peculiarity, almost nobody seemed to be interested in my ads.
While Digg is excellent for getting a number of backlinks the users seem to hate clicking on ads. My CTR is just 0.01% if you consider users from Digg.
Then why be there on Digg? Just for one reason. Backlinks.
